Vision Therapy in Kelowna for Reading, Focus, & Eye Coordination

If reading feels hard, focus doesn’t last, or symptoms linger after a concussion, it may be more than eyesight.

At A B See Optometry and Vision Therapy, we use structured, evidence-based vision therapy to improve how the eyes and brain work together. Our programs are designed to build visual skills that support learning, comfort, and day-to-day performance.

What Is Vision Therapy?

Houston, We Have a Focus Problem

Vision therapy is a personalized, one-on-one program designed to improve how your eyes track, focus, and work together. Think of it like physiotherapy for your visual system.

Each session is guided by a trained vision therapist, helping you build the visual skills. It helps address symptoms like:

    • Skipping lines or losing place when reading
    • Poor reading comprehension
    • Headaches
    • Double vision
    • Fluctuating blurry vision
    • Poor attention with reading

How do I get started with vision therapy or how do I know if vision therapy is needed?

Vision therapy is a custom program tailored to your specific needs and symptoms.

How long does it take?

When visual skills improve, everyday tasks often become easier.

Sessions are custom to you, most patients notice gradual improvement in comfort, reading, and focus after just 2 sessions. Significant and sustainable results are usually after 6-8 sessions.

Let’s Start with a Visual Skills Assessment

The first step is a visual skills assessment, where we look beyond 20/20 to understand how your eyes are working together. From there, we’ll guide you through the next steps and determine whether vision therapy is right for you.
